Project Overview
We designed and fitted custom wheel spacers for a Mercedes-Benz SL350 R231 to improve tyre fitment and wheel positioning. The spacers were developed to achieve the required clearance, correct stance, and proper alignment between the wheel, hub, and surrounding suspension/brake components.
The work involved measuring the vehicle’s hub, wheel offset, bolt pattern, centre bore, and clearance around the brake and suspension assembly. Based on these measurements, the spacer dimensions were selected to provide a secure fit while maintaining proper wheel alignment and safe mounting conditions.
The final result improved the wheel position and overall stance while ensuring compatibility with the vehicle’s existing hub and wheel setup.
